Meet Kyle Hall

His Story

Alabama Fraternity Consulting founder Kyle Hall has been involved in the fraternity system since 1983. During his college years, he served as President, Secretary, Rush Chairman and Pledge Class Treasurer of his respective fraternity while participating heavily in regional and national fraternity conferences across the country. He also had the distinct honor of giving out a brand new national scholarship award which is still being given out today.

Kyle finished up at Alabama in 1989, married the love of his life, who he met from a sorority house at the University, and began a highly successful career in educational software. Here he served as Vice President of Sales in high profile companies such as Houghton Mifflin out of Boston, Riverdeep out of Ireland, PLATO Learning out of Bloomington, Minnesota and Adaptive Curriculum out of Scottsdale, Arizona. He and his wife have three sons who went to three different Universities (two out of state) and all  joined a fraternity while they were undergraduates at their respective campuses.

Kyle made his return to the University of Alabama when his youngest son decided to follow his parent’s footsteps, head to the Capstone and pledge his father’s fraternity. In 2017, Kyle was asked to serve in the lead role of chapter advisor, appoint an active advisory board and work with various members of the University community to assist a struggling fraternity.

Five years later this same fraternity was enjoying a huge surplus, winning a number of prestigious national awards and boasted one of the biggest membership gains on campus. This was made possible by Kyle working closely with each fraternity rush chairman, aligning consistently with a revolving leadership team, constantly reporting to an alumni association, carefully partnering with the housing corporation and communicating diligently with University of Alabama administrators. The Office of Sorority and Fraternity Life recognized this great turnaround and in 2023 named him Chapter Advisor of the Year.

While Kyle was deeply immersed in the culture of Alabama fraternity life for many years, he realized the need to help incoming freshman (particularly from out of state) work through the many complexities of a 36 fraternity recruitment program. Kyle takes a one on one, unbiased approach to determine which five fraternities might best fit each client. He capitalizes on his 28 years of sales experience and couples it with a specific matrix which is mapped out by his in-depth knowledge of the Alabama fraternity system. This is part of the methodology he uses to confidentially help guide newcomers on their way to successful fraternity recruitment endeavors. If the first five personlized profiles don’t match well, he has five more behind them.

As a result, the demand for Alabama Fraternity Consulting has blown up, the word has gotten out and this unprecedented business model has become an overnight success.
